In accordance with its long-term strategy of sustainable business and environmental policy, ČSOB was the first financial institution to issue its own Green Bonds on the domestic market. These Green Bonds are issued in a volume of one billion crowns with a three-year maturity and are intended for private banking clients. Through them, ČSOB finances and supports "green projects" that aim to improve the environment. These pilot Green Bonds are thus an expression of the bank's culture, values and preferences towards ESG principles. "We care about the state in which we hand the planet over to future generations. That's why we project sustainability and a gentle approach to the environment into all our activities and also support the transition to a low-carbon economy," said Petr Hutla, member of the ČSOB Board of Directors responsible for Credit Management and Sustainability.
